Rationale:
Oxidative damage is one of the most significant degenerative processes within the body that must be repaired on a continual basis. Oxidative damage is due to normal metabolic processes, but if not countered, will lead to rapid aging, cell damage, and, ultimately, permanently damaged vital organs. A high-quality antioxidant is often considered to be the single most important supplement we can offer our companion animals.
We have selected this product for it's balanced use of many of the most potent and cost-effective antioxidants available.
- The antioxidant vitamins A, C, and E are included in reasonable amounts
- Selenium is a mineral that is important in several antioxidant biochemical pathways, including glutathione regeneration
- N-Acetyl cysteine is a powerful regenerator of glutathione, one of the body's primary antioxidants
- Lipoic Acid is a remarkable oxidative-reductive agent. The "Electron Transport Chain" passes electrons through the chemical reactions that produce the body's antioxidants and detoxification pathways; Lipoic acid regenerates the Electron Transport Chain in all tissues of the body, in both aqueous and lipid (fat) environments.
- Lutein
is a carotenoid that has gained respect in recent years as a plant-derived
antioxidant that is often deficient in the diet. Lutein plays a role

Dosage:
Do not place this product in water bowls, supplement directly into the mouth or place in food
Dogs:
- 1/2 tablet for each 25 lbs twice daily
Cats:

Birds:
- Crush or grind up (a coffee bean grinder works well) and lightly sprinkle or salt on soft foods daily
Ferrets:
- 1/8-1/4 tablet daily
Other Small Animals:
- 1/16 tablet for each 5 lbs once daily
Can be added to feeding formulas and soft or moist foods... but, do not place in water bowls. The products in this formula will become damaged with light (store in a dark place) and excessive moisture (don't refrigerate, store at a controlled room temperature)
