Indications:
This formula is a complex Chinese herbal remedy designed for immune enhancement and immune modulation or balancing. It not only boosts the immune system, but it also is reasonably anti-viral, anti-fungal and anti-bacterial. It can be used for a very long time if needed (months to even years).
Chinese Indications:
- Tonifies Qi, Blood, Yin, Yang and Essence (immune balancing)
- Clears Heat, Cleans Toxins (antimicrobial)
- Strengthens Wei Qi (the external defense systems, including skin, respiratory, intestinal)
- Clears Phlegm (removes buildup of mucous and drains lymphatics)
- Strengthens Spleen, Stomach and Kidney (the body's immune producing and cleansing organs)
Enhance can be used for the immune system even in the face of immune suppressing drug therapy, including corticosteroids (eg. prednisone), antibiotics, and chemotherapy agents.
Indications in Animals:
- Ringworm
- Mites, especially Demodex
- Chronic immune suppressed animals that continually develop infections
- Chronic diarrhea, including Inflammatory Bowel Disease
- Chronic hepatitis
- Cancer (with other therapies)
- Young animals that never seem to thrive and grow strong
Dosage:
Dogs:
1 pill twice daily for each 15 lbs body weight. Usually fed in food and given for 1-3 months. Maximum dose is 5 pills twice daily for the large breeds.
Cats:
1/2-1 pill twice daily
Birds:
Grind up and give 1/4 tsp. for each 250 grams body weight, twice daily, placed into food.
